If I could elect anyone for president of the United States of America, I would pick my grandfather. I would elect my grandfather because he is very wise and knows how to govern a country. I would elect my grandfather because he reminds me of Gorge Washington. He reminds me of Gorge Washington because like Washington my grandfather served in the army, has great character and is a great leader for his country. They both fought in wars and lived through them to see how valuable life really is and the would like to make everyone’s life better than it already is.

To become a president I believe you need to inherit characteristics of a leader. These characteristics include someone who is honest to himself and his country, someone who has an opened mind and willing to take risks, lastly the person needs to be literate. The person who I think have all these characteristics is my father. I think that he inherits all the skills to become the president. He is even the president of the New Brunswick little league. He was also involved in the zoning board and is into politics. He is no stranger to politics he ran for city council and just currently ran for the board of education. A president also needs to be active in the community. My dad is also not a stranger to serving the community, he is very active in church, and is always looking for an opportunity to change the community in a positive way. These traits are similar traits that President George Washington possesses. Washington is an honest person reliable person as the president of an early country Washington could be corrupt to the country but doesn’t instead honestly paves the way for America to thrive and become great. like my dad he is the president of new Brunswick little league , he could easily take the money that little league raises for the kids to himself, but doesn’t because he wants to like Washington pave the way for the next generations to take his place and govern with ease.

There are many people I would choose to be president. My friend Timmy would be the best candidate. He is a head strong boy who is very intelligent. He can make very wise decisions like George Washington. His decisions remind me of when Washington made the choice of neutrality. He made a difficult decisions like my friend Timmy. Although Timmy may have his problems he is an excellent candidate and leader to be a president. Timmy for president!!!

If I got to pick someone I know to be president it would be my friend Megan. I say this because she is a lot like George Washington. They are both brave, leaders, and intelligent. Megan was brave and a leader when she lead a paintball team to victory knowing she could get hurt or cause them to lose. She's also intelligent like George when he decide for America to go neutral when she chose to not get in between a fight between her friends which was kind of like George Washington was once in. This is why I would chose for Megan to be president.

If I had to choose someone for president, it would be someone I know named Craig. I believe that Craig has many of the characteristics needed to be president. Craig is mature, responsible, reliable, dependable, peaceful, stern, smart, and has good leadership skills. In many ways, I find George Washington and Craig similar. I believe that Washigton was a great leader, and led America through the times it was still getting stable. Craig would be able to calmly handle setting up America. Washington was mentally prepared to face problems, and find a solution for them. I know that Craig would evaluate problems, and fix them, while keeping what is best for America in mind. Washingtons act of leading 13,000 state militia troops to crush rebels is something, that I believe Craig would have also done because he knows when to be stern and not accept nonsense. That is who I would choose to be presideent.

If I had to choose someone I know to be president, it would be my social studies teacher, Mrs. Gustafson. To start with, Ms. Gustafson knows a lot about the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Also, Mrs. Gustafson has a lot of wisdom just like the first president, George Washington. In addition, Mrs. Gustafson is really into education just like John Adams.

I believe the president I would chose is my friend.I say this because she's compassionate, sweet, friendly, and always looks after you. When she sees something that's not, she won't stand and watch. She will stand up and actually do something about it.She won't stop until everything she sees is running smoothly. Also she's very reasonable as well, she'll make everything right.I say she can probably relate or connect to George Washington.I say this because George Washington cares about his people and understands what they're going through. He makes sures that everyone has everything they need.He is reasonable to his country as well.I also think he's a great leader and a great role model to follow. So I think my friend can absoultely connect to George Washington. That is why I choose my friend to be president.

If I had to pick someone I know as president I would pick my aunt, Ms.Rodriguez. I so believe that Ms.Rodriguez is all you can need to be a president. She is responsible, and she is caring, and mature. She is intelligent and gets along with pretty much everyone. Her characteristics are similar to George Washington's in actually all ways. I so think that George Washington was an amazing president. He kept America firm and did a lot that helped throughout the states. Ms.Rodriguez would be able to do the same thing. When she promises anything she means it. Ms.Rodriguez is mentally prepare to handle difficult problems going around the states, Just like Washington was. I surely know that Ms.Rodriguez would fix any problem or have everything prepare for wars in time. Both George Washington and Ms.Rodriguez are brave and they have back ups whenever there's a problem. They both don't give up on the people in the United States.

Albert Arnold "Al" Gore would be my pick for president. He ran before against former president Bush. He had excellent views on foreign policy. America was on the brink of going to war with Iraq. He reminded me of President Monroe. Monroe had to deal with Mexico and the presidential race of Algore had to deal with Afganistan. The people of the United States actually chose him over Bush, but the electoral college chose Bush so he became president. Algore knew a way to stop the war butthe electoral college favored Bush. That's why I feel that Algore would be the right person as a president.

If I had to pick someone to be president I would choose LeBron James because he is a leader and lead the Miami Heat basketball team to the Finals in 2012 with a victory. It is his second year with the team and he is already being a leader, but Dwayne Wade was the former team captain and gave the position to LeBron because Dwayne was unhealthy and needed to step down. Dwayne also gave him the position because LeBron is aggresive, strong, active, and a team player. George Washington lead 13,000 militia state troops in to fight and capture the rebels territory which he successfully did just like LeBron James did in the Finals and won it. This was Lebron's first year with the team and his first time winning in the Finals as well as getting a ring. In addition, George Washington was the first president to lead any army and fight and it was a victory. They both also enjoyed being leaders and doing what was right for their team or army.

If I were to choose someone I know as a president, I would choose M.r H. Mr. H is a man who is very helpful to younger generations and thinks about both sides of a story before making a judgment. He is like President Monroe. Mr. H, like Monroe, liked the idea of working together. Monroe thought the idea to join with Britain to tell other countries to not mess with them was a good one. Mr. H constantly has kids cooperate together to get a job done. They both also believe that you should stand up for yourself and take action. Monroe spoke against foreign countries settling in the Americas. He spoke up to help out the Americas. Mr. H helps younger children recognize that they have to speak out and voice what they believe. So, overall I think that if someone I knew should become president Mr. H would fit the spot.

If I were to pick who would be the right president I would say my friend M F. M F knows whats right or wrong, or whats needed. She understands the things that are fair or not. She knows how to get what she wants or what she thinks is best for others. She's an intelligent young lady, whenever she notices that something isn't right. She says something, she likes to share her opinion on what she feels isn't necessary. She's not afraid to speak her heart out, and I know that she would do alot to be an amazing president. She'll make sure that everything turns out the right way. M F reminds me of our current president Barack Obama. They both are strong and independent people. They wouldn't fight for there selves only but for others as well. And thats the kind of president that would be perfect for the job. That's why I feel that M F would be the right person as a president.

I would choose my mom to be the president because she is a great leader and is fair with everyone. First, she is a great leader just like President George Washington. Washington was a general in the Revolutionary War and was the first president of the United States. He was serious, loyal, and had lots of leadership. For example, Washington was strong enough to lead or govern a brand new nation because he was strong enough to lead everyone in the right path. My mom is exactly like that. Next, my mom was a good problem solver. She loves to look for problems to solve just like Washington. He made solutions to problem that really worked and helped the country in many ways. For instance, he made a foreign policy to go neutral with Britain and France. This was a good solution because that way they won’t be involved in war. My mom loves to make up great solutions to problems just like that. All in all, I would choose my mom to be the president because she has qualities that would make her excel.

If I were to choose someone to be president, I would choose my father. I would choose him due to the similar qualities between him and George Washington. George Washington led the American army to victory in the revolutionary war and he taught people how to become battle leaders. My dad would know how to deal with foreign problems and leaders. He would listen for better ideas and solutions instead of going in without any help. This is why I would choose my dad for president.

The person I would choose to be president would be Raquel. Raquel is much like our first president George Washington. She has her dignity, integrity and she is very honest. She has these characters like him. I think that she would be a great leader for our country. Raquel would be the person that can make the right decision for our country. I also think Raquel would make a good president because in my eyes I think that she thinks we are all one. We will be triumphant or fail as one, but we are together to make our country how it is. Like George Washington she will be a superb choice to be our president.

If I had to pick someone I knew to be President i would choose Mr. H. I say this because he is a fair man. He is also responsible and participates in many activities, and he also supports things for a good cause. Mr. H has good leadership skills. He reminds me of George Washington. i say this because they both are loyal people. their also both great leaders. Washington led the army to fight for the country. Mr. H leads young kids to become someone one day and be good leaders. Both things that these guys did are for a good cause. Washington created the foreign policy which is a fair policy for the U.S. Mr. H also creates fair things that are fair to people, such as kids getting done a simple research paper to go to an amazing basketball game. they made great solutions to the problems that people had. This is why Mr. H reminds me of George Washington. Two great minds think alike.

I would choose Mr. H. He is in the New Brunswick civic league and 7th grade step up/8th grade leadership. these programs help kids strive in the right direction. He would be a great president. He is dedicated and enjoys helping kids. He acknowledges us about our future what we want to do. He assure us that college is very important and education comes first. Mr. H reminds me of our first president George Washington. Washington was a great leader. Both Mr. H and George Washington know how to take responsibility and be leaders. George Washington showed leadership when he was the commanding officer of the continental army. Mr. H shows leadership every time I see him. He helps kids and doesn’t give up on you.

If i had to pick someone i know to be a president i would pick my mentor Laquan. He is in charge of a program that helps teenagers learn to be good citizens and be successful in life. I compare Laquan to our first president George Washington because i think they're similar leaders. Laquan is dealing with teenagers, who are changing into adults, and Geaorge Washington was dealing with a new country that was developing and changing all the time. They're both leaders in that they are not tyrants. Laquan doesnt force me to do things, he shows me. I think George Washington was similar. He showed the american people how to be great and not to force them.
