My favorite artwork that we studied in class was Pieta by Michelangelo . My favorite piece is Pieta because of the religious aspects of it. You can tell that the woman is Mary and the man is Jesus. You can see that Jesus os very sick or even dying . The sculpture looks very life like and the folds in Mary's dress look very detailed.

My favorite is Pieta by Michelangelo because it's a very beautiful piece of art work. The art work is from the Renaissance time period because it's 3d and it's very life like and the faces on the sculpture is looks like they were thinking. Also the painting is religious as the women is Virgin Mary and the man is Jesus him self.

Out of all the great options Pieta by Michel Angelo is the best. To me because it is a amazing piece of art work and I have seen it in different churches. This was built around the third century. However I can tell this sculpture is from the Renaissance time. And the description that the history book told me matched the sculpture. The figure was three dimensional and life like, the figures were nude and clothed. Also the artist showed religious scenes because the women is Mary and the man she's holding is Jesus Christ. That's why Pieta is my favorite pice of art.

I loved the Pieta. If I could I just wanted to feel the rough texture of this sculpture. It seemed like it was hard to make. I actually liked paintings and sculpture made during the Renaissance rather than classical or medieval. The way the dress creased it just looked so real and I liked that. The sculpture was so easy from me to figure out what it was. The facial expression Michelangelo chose was just perfect for Jesus's mother.

I like the Pieta. The sculpture was at my old church. When I was little, I used to love it. It's a 3d art. It's a renaissance sculpture. For some reason, I like sculptures. The Pieta is the best art out of all the art that we learned.

My favorite piece of art is the "Madonna and child with two angels", Because I like religeous paintings. I can teell that this painting is religeous because the picture represents Mary and Jesus. Both Mary and Jesus have halos around their heads which means they are either holy or religous, As well the third child has wings on his back which means he is an angel.

My favorite art piece is the Pieta its an example of Renassiance art. The figure that is sitting is bigger than the one her lap. Jesus and Mary are in the picture also they look stiff with no emotion on their face. This was my favorite becuase it has our savior in it which is Jesus.

My favorite piece of art is "Maddona with child in majesty" by cimabue. This piece of art is my favorite because the art shows religious scenes. Also, because the art shows that virgin Mary carries her baby Jesus and it looks like she's putting him towards the sky so that he could be illuminated and blessed by god.

The art work that grabbed my attention is the Pieta by Michelangelo. I like this piece of work because of it's three dimensional figure, great details, and it's story. The art work is three dimensional, which means you can look at form every angel. The details on the woman's clothes shows that it took a long time to make this piece of art. Also the art work shows a woman holding a man on her lap. The woman is Mary and the man is Jesus Christ. Even thought I am not christian, I can still relate to the art work because it was a religious event. This is why Pieta is my favorite art work.
