I think the most important was trade. I mean, without good materials for crafting tools, and weapons, and better resources for making houses, how would the people of the Neolithic Age survive? Plus when you trade you find knowledge and the people could learn how to grow crops, make stronger houses, or craft better tools and weapons better and more easily. In conclusion, I think trade was most important change.
