Ancient History 6.2: Egypt, Kush and Canaan
It is time to travel along the Nile River and explore ancient Egypt, Kush, and Canaan. Our studies begin with the identification of environmental factors that exist in the regions and determine which areas would be the best for human settlement. Next will be a tour of Egyptian monuments and a study of the Pharaohs they were built for. We will learn how the civilizations of Egypt and Kush influenced each other. Our studies will conclude with an examination of the development of Judaism, the first monotheistic religion we will study, and the struggles to preserve the religion.
